EFFECTS ADVICE

I've been using a digitech effects unit for ages and thinking of trying something new just wondered if anyone has any suggestions? What do you all think is the best effects units at the moment?

Boss GT8 is a good effects unit.
Bit of a pain to begin with but if you have a bit of patience it can be awesome.

I have had a GT8 it was good- however- a simpler device and proper pedal is the BOSS (again) ME-50- I cannot fault it- it is not new but it really is solid reliable and just great- ALL the eggs recent recordings- myspace etc are on ME 50 have a listen

Whats it for- Acoustic- or Electric- and style of music- when I am doing a bluesy intimate set with my band I use an Artec Fuzztown which is ace for a but of dirty BOOST!!

electric guitar and prob more towards pop punk stuff is what I'm working on just now

PUNK- get a cheapo valve amp - P90 equipped guitar and just turn it up!!

I was having a look at some line 6 gear but the demonstration one wasn't working so couldn't get a shot grrrrr...I think at the moment it is either going to be a boss or zoom multieffects unit I go for
