NEW GIGS FOR OLD

Following the demise of old favorite GIG venues such as the Glass Barrel,New Inn Walkden and also The Plough Cadishead who have been forced not to have music due to Neighbour complaints All were frinite gigs so one can imagine the gaps left in the diary of many a band ..and also the music lovers who frequented the said venues being lost for somewhere to go.......
Oh yes my point !!!!! ........
We have a gig at a 'new' venue which is pretty local to the above pubs its the :
The Ship
Liverpool Rd
Irlam, Manchester, M44 6AJ
0161 775 2448?
The couple that have it are trying hard to get this large pub going so if any body free try to get down here this friday May 2nd and lets get this venue up and running proper.....................even snatch yrself a gig too ..

nice one Ian we will see if we can get on there as we have got a pretty empty June coz we thought we were losing Andy for a month but it is all not happening now and we have lots of gaps to fill.

A sad reflection on the demise of small live music venues, the smoking ban has started to hit home? Seems ther've been quite a few venues shut down this year already!
