A couple of my muso friends are re-launching the jam night at The Kings Head, Warrington on a Tuesday night.
I have offered to drum (sic) up some support through NWB.

A couple of years ago this was the best / only jam night for miles. Unfortunately it failed for many reasons which need not be known, however, there is no reason why it should not be a success this time round.

The Kings Head is 1 of only 2 real live music pubs in Warrington with bands on every Friday. It was where we used to watch bands before we started, it was where we jammed and it is where we played our first gig. It's like our home ground.

There is precious little going on in the rock scene around here. It's like chav city and it p**sses me off. Most of our gigs are Gtr. Manc & Lancs. We need this.
There are lots of bands around here with virtually nowhere to play so this is an ideal opportunity for everyone that is too good to miss.

It is due to start in August. It will be the usual format of PA, drum kit, bass rig and 2 amps.
