i went to the summer fair at the school my mum works at in oakdale, and as i sat at a stall i saw a guitar that someone was selling at a car boot sale, so i went and asked about it.

she told me she had bought it for her daughter but she want to play it anymore. i asked her how much and she said, "i'll give it you for three pounds" so i took it straight off her and started to play it. it had a missing machine head, the strings were rusted, the nylon strings were on the verge of snapping and the bottom E would'nt tune due to the missing machinehead. but i played it as i sat next to the stalls and a kid put a box in front of me then ran off. so i carried on playing and people started shucking in pennys and stuff. i attually got about 3 pounds from pennys kid chucked in so i attualy made my money back! i took the guitar home, stopped of at Q-music to grab some new strings (all metal, i cant stand nylon) and a machinehead and repaired it. i also stuck a white scratch plate on it from a old accoustic i had which was in bits, and it contrasts quite well with the black body.
