Any body who knows Staley Cricket Club, near Millbrook knows that it is what can only be described as an intimate venue.. i.e small... we went along knowing that the audience were looking forward to seeing us perform... its the place we practice on a weekly basis. But nothing could have prepared us for the fantastic reception we got from a very enthusiastic crowd, who right from the first song through to the very last, which included us exhausting our set list, then gone back to stuff we have dropped and then me singing accapello were up dancing and singing along all night long, i can only compare it to the proper old fashioned venues that were an integral part of the community were everybody goes young and old and they just love having a good time...You know you have gone down well when an old boy of around 70 says they had a great night then a youngster of sixteeen or seventeen comes up to you grabs you by the hand shakes it with gusto and shouts you were fuckin fantastic... who needs money as payment... yea i know we NEED money but.... ahhh you know what i mean...
