If there was a medal table for gigging The Blue Slickers at The George and Dragon in Cheadle last night would be at the top! Last nights gig was a staggering display of tight blues rock and showmanship, The mix was clean and bright and the engine room was well stoked and firing on all cylinders, the twin guitars were tight and fast and the vocals both stunned and pleased the ear. The audience responded with wild enthusiasm and several encores were demanded and received. If you want the musical appetite sated by individual interpretations of Rock and blues classics the Blue Slickers proved that they can serve'em up hot! I'll be at the Carters arms in Wilmslow next time out for another satisfying main course.
