The last of the Riff Raff 'dep sessions' was last night...its' been fun filled and was only 6 gigs!! All new venues to me.

The Griffin in Newton le Willows was my debut in the RR camp, it was a blast - great night topped off with double encores. Great crowd, great venue.

A the beginning of the Bankl Hol w/end I was off to Milnrow W.M.C. Quite busy in there, a couple of hiccups with the vocal mic, but was sorted evetually, a great gig none the less. There were a few NWB'ers present, Viking: Cheers for your comments mate you probably convinced Ian to give me a try!! Must buy the man a drink...Cheers fella!!!

I got lost on the way to the Brewery Tap in Bradford, nightmare to find and GOOGLE maps directions were utter shite. Aaaannnd another great gig, ace little venue really....

Sunday was an afternoon stint i the Derby Arms, cheers to the chap who supplied the loan kit, it mean't my Wife & kids could come to the gig too!! Wheeeee, they spent the afternoon watching me play through the open window behind me though as it was busy inside the pub. Met Paul (HEL YEAH!) from Wrecked and his 'better half'. Paul did a 'Guitar Relay' with Ian during the solo on Rosie....very nice....;O)

The following weekends penultimate was at The Boulevard in Wigan AND guess what..., got Lost again !! friggin google maps again!!!! Mind you does not help that half the roads only have the name plate on one side (or is it just me). Cheers for Tracy Kev and Barry from Tuskan and the multi artistic Nige (Proshine) for coming down and giving some support. A great night again!!

Last was a Wedding Bash at Lowerhouse cricket club Burnley (Got lost again!... hence GOOGLE maps can f7£K off from now on...) Really enjoyed the gig, and best wishes to the lucky couple and thanks to the young bridesmaid and her mate who were headbanging either side of me whilst I was drumming, a surreal moment which felt like I was in a rock video, until one of there mums came over and told them off...!

Really really enjoyed it and big thanks to Dave Kol and Ian of Riff Raff, and Hi to Shell and Shirley !. Thanks to Carl, RR's drummer for the loan of his XLR leads!!! .... cheers...

See ya later..

google maps cant possibly be any worse than my directions, ask Steve W our singer ,often missed turns caused by me too busy checking my hair in the passenger mirror or ogling some tasty bird walking down the street..
