ABILITY TO PIN BLOGS

There are a number of guys on this forum who I recognise from some of the Bass Sites I use. These other Forums have the ability to "PIN" popular or Useful Posts so they are always visible at the head of each catagory.

As an example. I replied to a Blog for a band looking for a Vocalist and pointed out all the Muso Sites that we posted on when we were looking. Obviously NWB was the first, but we used about 8-10 others.
I have since responded to a number of other similar Blogs for bands looking for musicians and find myself repeating the advice.
If the site had the ability to make this kind of information available easily rather than having to trawl through all the other Blogs that would be good.
Could be used for Music Shops, Tutors, Studios etc.etc

You can subscribe to any blog - Just click on the subscribe linky in the header and it'll put it in the right hand column under "Subscribed blogs" - that way you have a quick click to any blogs you're interested in following.

As a matter of course, the new NWB site will make it much easier to following blogs/comments. This current blog system is very much a stepping stone to the next level.

This is the General Bass Discussion Forum and one of the "Pinned" topics is "Courier Reviews".
Anyone wanting to comment on Couriers it ends up in 1 Topic, (Blog) and not loads.
So in NWB's example, anyone wanting a musician, when they went to the Musicians Wanted Blog, the 1st Blog they always see would have a load of places to try as well as NWB.
ie A fixed blog with a list of sites to try which could be added to by other members and is always in position 1 on the Blog List.

No problemo - I see what youre getting at. You can sort of do that with NWB at the moment if you click on the TAG filters on the right. So if youre after a bass played you click on MUSCIAN WANTED e.t.c

Like I said, the new blog search will make it easier to find,pin,search,watch blog comments. So bare with me on it.
