I'm pondering what are the good ones to play at a wedding

The Wind Beneath My Wings
Have I Told You Lately That I Love You
Love Me Tender

Anything by Elvis is prob a good start

At one wedding we played at, "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" (Andy Williams' interpretation) was requested as the first song, by the bride & groom, so we did a stripped down version of it, with just our singer and myself on acoustic guitar. Everyone joined in on the choruses and it went down great...so stick that one on your list for starters! ;-)

Are we talking about our favourites, (to play), or the ones that go down a bomb with the wedding party and guests?

All Right Now and Honkey Tonk Women always go down a storm but easily the most popular with the most people is Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me). Sure fire winner!

Anything that involves the crowd
Mustang Sally, (played through gritted teeth and the bridesmaids on backing vocals)
Land of 1000 Dances
Honky Tonk Woman, (loads of Mick Jagger strutting)
Disco Inferno, (loads of Dad dancing)
Make Me Smile
I Saw Her Standing There
Anything by James Brown. Especially Sex Machine

Could end up with our complete Wedding Set-List if I don't stop now.

Depends what type of wedding it is and what sort of music they are into. We do different types of music for different weddings. Sometimes we play a lot of soul, motown, Disco etc and other times we get asked for a lot of indie stuff
